# Assets

HYPERPNL uses [Hyperliquid](https://hyperliquid.xyz/) as the source for all crypto assets and some non-crypto assets, and uses [Ostium](https://ostium.com/) as the source for certain other non-crypto assets.

All prices and order book data are sourced directly from Hyperliquid and Ostium. HYPERPNL does not generate synthetic prices or modify market data.

#### <mark style="color:$warning;">Supported Asset Types</mark>

**Crypto**\
Crypto assets are traded through Hyperliquid’s native crypto markets, using the same pricing and liquidity available on Hyperliquid.

**Non-Crypto Assets**\
Non-crypto assets (forex, indices, stocks, and commodities) are sourced from two venues depending on the asset:

* **Hyperliquid HIP-3 Markets** — Certain index, stock, and commodity markets are traded using Hyperliquid HIP-3 markets. HIP-3 defines standardized market structures that allow non-crypto assets to be traded with on-chain price feeds.
* **Ostium** — Other forex, index, stock, and commodity markets are sourced from Ostium, using its on-chain price feeds and liquidity.

#### <mark style="color:$warning;">Trading Limits</mark>

Each asset type has predefined trading limits designed to ensure stable execution.

These include:

* Minimum order size
* Maximum leverage

All limits are fixed and enforced automatically by the system.
