# Trading

<details>

<summary>How are prices sourced?</summary>

HyperPNL does not generate its own prices.

Prices are sourced directly from the underlying trading venues used by the platform, including Hyperliquid and Ostium.

This allows traders to independently verify market prices against the underlying exchanges.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How does order execution work?</summary>

When a trader submits an order, HyperPNL routes and simulates execution based on the underlying market data provided by the supported trading venues.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What order types are supported?</summary>

HyperPNL currently supports:

* Market Orders
* Limit Orders
* Stop Loss Orders
* Take Profit Orders

Additional order types may be introduced in future platform updates.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What leverage is available?</summary>

Leverage depends on the specific market being traded.

Available leverage limits are displayed directly within the trading platform and may vary by asset class, liquidity conditions, and risk requirements.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can HyperPNL modify executions?</summary>

No.

HyperPNL cannot manually alter completed executions, fill prices, account balances, or trading history.

Execution results are determined automatically according to the platform's execution engine and market data.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How are trading fees calculated?</summary>

Trading fees vary by asset and are displayed before you open a position.

The same fee is charged when opening and closing a trade.

Applicable fees are automatically reflected in account performance and profit and loss calculations.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How are stop losses executed?</summary>

Stop loss orders are triggered automatically when the specified stop price is reached.

Execution occurs at the best available market price at the time of triggering.

Actual execution prices may differ slightly from the stop price during volatile market conditions.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How are take profits executed?</summary>

Take profit orders are triggered automatically when the specified target price is reached.

Execution occurs at the best available market price when the order is activated.
